Introversion from the Mouth of Babes

So we had a visiting family a few weeks ago at our church, and they had a kid around my youngest's age, and my kiddo did not extend the right hand of fellowship. He actually burst into tears when he saw a new kid in nursery and his buddy wasn't there. He did rally himself and parallel play with her there, but there was no friendship started that day.

Text:
L: Did you meet a new friend in church nursery today?
O: No.
L: ...was there a new kid today?
O: Yes. :(
L: Oh, my little introvert.
O: *sobbing* NO MANNETTE!
L: I know, Buddy, Ma-Annette wasn't there today.

Introvert Audience Participation

I went to an excellent theater showing down in D.C. recently, but it started unexpectedly with some audience participation for which my group of introverts was happy to not get selected. I have to prepare beforehand when interaction is a possibility. It was a full theater but I was not about to draw 100+ figures for this comic. Though that would have been an interesting perspective, showing all the others excitedly looking for the ticket while the group of introverts is like NOPE gonna hand this off to an extrovert.

MC: Everyone look under your seat to find who has the golden ticket to come up on stage!
C: I better not find a ticket.
L: I did not come prepared for audience participation.

Taking a Survey

True story. I don't recall what survey I was filling out but I thought, sure I'll answer some more questions BUT NOT LIKE THAT.

Stay as Long as You'd Like

 enable images please

Our two hours of enjoyment have expired and we are ready to go home. There are definite perks to being an introvert couple, like we're both ready to leave a party after the same rather short time, but it is hard when neither of us want to go to a thing but we should go to the thing. It was looking like our preschooler might be an extrovert, but she recently has been asking "why are we going out and about?" and wanting to stay home so maybe things are changing.

Explanation: The host is encouraging everyone to stay and socialize, but the couple has drained their social batteries and will not be swayed.

H: No need to rush out - stay as long as you'd like!
L: Oh, we have.
M: *holding hand, ready to leave*

Introvert Party

Actually misread a wedding RSVP and thought it said this but they worded it the 'correct' way.

Limbo

I couldn't remember the name of this game so I googled 'party game with stick' and got it.
