This was derived (haha) from the last comic which was extrapolated from a sermon titled "Plain Speech" which was not about math at all but I made the connection on my own. I don't know if I've used my protractor since graduation but there's a slim chance I have, in some sort of craft. But I cannot recall which one that would be. It's always good to have some math tools around in case.... I'm not sure what but surely there'd be a reason. Maybe I just can't part with them.
Also, Happy Father's Day to the best Dad and Dad-in-Law! I'm grateful for all that you've done for me and my man, and also specifically thankful for the love of math I got from my Dad.
