Board of Elections

 

Whether or not you believe in election, there still is a Board of Elections and it's not that kind of election. If you don't know about that kind of election, I am fine with leaving you in your ignorance. It's a very debated topic and it can mean different things. 

Explanation: The Board of Elections is a political thing. The topic of election is a spiritual thing.

Bored of Elections

 

Happy Birthday Eve to my niece and my grandma!
Please read your official mail - sometimes it has useful stuff in there. Also, don't checkout and be bored of elections - they are important and you should make your voice heard even if your voice seems small. 

Explanation: "Board" and "bored" sound the same, and by the time an election finally happens there's been so much news coverage of all the main angles that it can be boring.

Sadly, that's not on the ballot. Or is it??? It isn't in so many words, but be sure to research who you are voting for and get out and vote today if you legally can do so! There are many ways to look up what people stand for, although it can be difficult sometimes to get a straight answer on where a politician stands on a given issue (the classic "I was for that before I was against it"). But do your research or have a trusted person do it for you! Also, fill out your specimen ballot (which should have been mailed to you) so you remember what you researched AND remember to take it with you when you go vote (don't do the classic fill out a grocery list then leave it on the counter).

My husband wanted to watch the numbers come in (he stayed up til 2am) but I was more interested in watching CW's Supergirl because the pollsters were too stressful (I watched on my tablet with headphones so he could have the TV). And I did not stay up too far past midnight because I knew the numbers would still be there in the morning.
