Magic Bagel

 enable images please

It's not the magician's fault if you word it so specifically and a pun lines up perfectly.

Explanation: Seagulls live at the sea (allegedly) so clearly a gull for the bay is a baygull, or rather bagel.

Text:
A: I love seagulls and want to be one but I don't want to move to the sea so can you make me a gull for the local body of water?
M: the BAY?!?!!! :) :) :)

Chocolate Sprinkle Bagel

 enable images please

True Story, there's a shop called Horseman Bagels in Sleepy Hollow, NY, (super tasty bagels!) and you can guess what their logo is (in case you can't, it's the headless horseman holding a bagel instead of a pumpkin). I redirected Robin to a rainbow bagel which she loved so yay no meltdown! Also, I feel like Bagelheads and Horseman Bagel (which I keep thinking of as "Headless Bagel") are opposites and I just realized when I looked them up that Bagelheads is only in Pensacola, which happens to be where I went to school but I didn't realize they're a totally local shop. So that's neat.

L: We're getting bagels for breakfast.
R: I want a chocolate one with sprinkles.
L: ... that would not be a bagel.

A Raisin for an Everything Bagel

enable images

I thought this one up when drawing the previous comic about "there's a raisin for everything." I would totally swap a raisin bagel for an everything one - we often have a sleeve of each since my husband likes the one and I like the other and when you get them from Costco, you get two sleeves so you can get two flavors if you so desire. But I'm pretty sure nowhere will let you swap a loose bagel for a different flavor after you've handled it. Maybe Costco would allow it - depends on how you ask them probably.

Text:
C: Can I exchange my bagel for a different flavor, specifically *that* one?
W: Sure, so that's a raisin for everything?
C: Wow, I guess so.

Everything Bagels are the Best

Liking everything doesn't mean liking everything

My sister got me the famous EBTB seasoning as part of my Christmas gift, and it is AMAZING because everything bagels are my favorite and now I can have everything toast and everything anything! It seems fairly easy to make on your own if you're not up to swinging by Trader Joe's for it. And people have lists of what it's good on, which is a wide variety of things!

Disclaimer: This one is based on a conversation and not an actual scenario because my Mark knows me better that this (I do like blueberry bagels but everything ones are my favorite). Chocolate chip bagels served warm are also really good - I got those a lot during my Panera days in college. But I don't think chocolate and everything seasoning is a good mix.

L: Why did you get me a blueberry bagel? I asked for -
M: You said you liked everything so I just picked one at random.
